Opening September 2026

A Calm Start. A Confident Childhood.

A Montessori-inspired nursery in Edgware (HA8), just a 3 minute walk from Queensbury Station.

A thoughtfully prepared environment where children build confidence, curiosity, and independence through calm structure and real-world experience.

Our Philosophy

Early Childhood Shapes Everything.

Modern childcare can often feel rushed, loud, and overstimulating.

At Novara, we offer a calmer, more intentional alternative, where children are not hurried, but understood.

Through thoughtful materials, real-world experiences, and a steady daily rhythm, we create the space for confidence, independence, and curiosity to grow naturally.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A Closer Look

A simple overview of daily life, routines, and what children experience at Novara.

How often are children outside?

Every day, with the freedom to move outside throughout the day. Outdoor time is part of the daily rhythm, not an add-on. Children spend time outside for movement, play, and exploration, regardless of the weather.

What do children eat at Novara?

We serve home-cooked, plant-based organic meals made with clean, minimally processed ingredients. Children are supported to serve themselves, eat at their own pace, and take part in simple routines around food.

What are your outings like?

We take small groups on weekly outings, from local parks and walks to carefully planned trips into central London, including museums, galleries, gardens, and thoughtfully chosen public spaces that broaden children’s real-world experience.

What is the atmosphere like day to day?

Calm and focused. The environment is intentionally low-noise, with clear routines and minimal transitions, allowing children to settle, concentrate, and engage without interruption.

What makes Novara different?

We are intentionally small. This allows us to offer more attention, more time, and a consistent environment for each child, rather than a busy, high-turnover setting.
